We’re a local soccer family, and we make practical gear that supports comfort, durability and easy care through training and game days.

Meet Jax

Hey, I’m Jax! I’m a junior soccer player, and I’m the inspiration behind Alpha Skins.

Soccer isn’t just something I play. It’s a huge part of my life. I love training, competing with my mates and pushing myself to get better every game. Whether I’m chasing down a loose ball, working on my tackles or trying to bend one into the top corner, I’m always all in.

Like a lot of kids, I had the same problems with shin guards. They slipped around, got uncomfortable, and always ended up smelling no matter what we did. My mum was constantly reminding me about it, and honestly, she wasn’t wrong.

That’s where the idea for Alpha Skins started, at home, like it does for many soccer families.

What makes Alpha Skins different

  • Slip-on, no straps or tape. A snug, non-slip fit that stays where it should.
  • Washable. Pop them in the wash, so no more smelly shin guards.
  • Lightweight, flexible padding. Honeycomb padding that helps cushion knocks.
