Palm Beach U9s Crowned Champions at 2025 Annual Carnival!

Sunday 27th July 2025 will be remembered for years to come by the Palm Beach Soccer Club "where Juniors become Seniors" and the wider Gold Coast soccer community.

The Under 9s (White) team claimed victory in the Grand Final of the Palm Beach Soccer Club’s Annual Carnival in a nail-biting penalty shootout against their arch-rivals, Gold Coast United.

Their journey to the final was nothing short of spectacular:

• Game 1: Win – 1–0

• Game 2: Win – 1–0

• Game 3: Draw – 0–0

Their unbeaten run sent them to the Grand Final, where after a tense, goalless match, it all came down to a penalty shootout. With the crowd holding its breath, the boys kept their cool and secured an emotional win that had parents, grandparents, and supporters in tears.

🎉 Coach Justin couldn’t have been prouder of the team’s performance, sportsmanship, and grit under pressure.

This historic moment marks only the second time a Palm Beach Junior team has ever won a Grand Final at this prestigious carnival.

Jax, Fred, Arlo, Billy, Spencer, Jack, Flynn, and substitute Huey from the U8s, who stepped up in place of two absent teammates.

Every boy on the field wore Alpha Skins Shin Guards, built for comfort, performance, and confidence—just like this team showed all tournament long. We couldn’t be prouder to support grassroots champions like these.
